In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
A commission is hereby established the to develop a solution to the ongoing traffic, congestion and safety issues at the issues at the Turnpike and I-495 Interchange through any and all necessary service, operational and infrastructure enhancements and improvements. Said commission shall consist of, but not be limited to, the Secretary of Transportation or their designee, the Turnpike Authority or their designee, Mass Highway or their designee, the Secretary of Environmental Affairs or their designee, The Metropolitan Area Planning Council or their designee, the Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Authority or their designee, the Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization or their designee, the Central Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization or their designee, the municipal governments of Hopkinton and Westborough or their designee, and any other appropriate governmental agencies, as well as interested non-profit organizations such as the 495/MetroWest Corridor Partnership and the Cedar Swamp Conservation Trust. He commission shall report its findings the Senate Committee on Ways and Means and the House Committee on Ways and Means by January 1, 2006.
