An Act designating a certain bridge in the town of Freetown as the Joseph F. Simmons, Jr. bridge. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1: The bridge spanning Route 24 and located on North Main Street in the town of Freetown shall be designated and known as the Joseph F. Simmons, Jr., in honor of Joseph F. Simmons, Jr. who served many years as the highway supervisor of the town of Freetown. A suitable marker bearing said designation shall be attached thereto by the department of highways in compliance with the standards of the department.
