An Act relative to Cambridge parkway.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the department of conservation and recreation, for purposes of public safety, shall cause the traffic flow on the street known as Cambridge parkway in the city of Cambridge, presently under the custody and control of the department, to be altered from a north, northeasterly direction to a south, southwesterly direction, and shall maintain the street as a one-way street in its altered direction, including the medication and rearranging of required traffic signs, signals and controls.
