An Act relative to motor vehicle inspections.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 7W of Chapter 90 of the General Laws, as so appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking paragraph 3 and inserting in place thereof the following:

                                “The registrar, upon granting the opportunity for a hearing, shall impose a fine of not more than $500 for the violation of any rule or regulation promulgated hereunder.”
