An Act designating a certain interchange as the State Trooper Ellen Engelhardt Interchange. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. The interchange of US Route 6 West Bound with Willow Street in Yarmouth shall be designated as the State Trooper Ellen Engelhardt Interchange.
The department of highways shall erect and maintain a conspicuous sign, plaque, or marker recognizing Massachusetts State Trooper Ellen Engelhardt bearing the words, “The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Citizens of Cape Cod hereby recognizes the service of State Trooper Ellen Engelhardt and thanks her for her many years of service at this location” and shall comply with the standards of the department.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
