In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to registration and license fees for certain elderly persons.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

   SECTION 1. Paragraph (2) of section 33 of chapter 90 of the General Laws, as amended by section 8 of chapter 87 of the acts of 2000, is hereby further amended by adding the following sentence:- No fee shall be collected hereunder for the registration of motor vehicles owned by persons 65 years of age or older.

   SECTION 2. Paragraph 21 of said section 33 of said chapter 90, as so amended is hereby further amended by adding the following sentence:- No fee shall be collected for a license or renewal thereof issued to a person 65 years of age or older.
