In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act Providing for the Licensing of Radiant Heat Installers.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Section 1 of chapter 142 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after the definition of “apprentice plumber” the following definition:-  “Radiant heat installer” a person who does any work in installing radiant heat.

 

SECTION 2.  Section 3 of said chapter 142, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “installer” in line 4, the following words:- or radiant heat installer.

 

SECTION 3. Section 4 of said chapter 142, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting after the 4th sentence the following sentence:- They shall examine each person who applies to license as a radiant heat installer.
