An Act relative to restoring the State Film Office.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

This bill would re-establish a film bureau in Massachusetts with the overall objective to promote economic development and grow alternative revenue streams for the Commonwealth.  The day-to-day responsibilities of the film bureau would be to market Massachusetts as a friendly place to conduct television and film production.
