An Act relative to police pursuit.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 7B of Chapter 89 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 1998 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:—

Notwithstanding the foregoing, no driver of a vehicle of a police or recognized protective department shall engage in the pursuit of motor vehicle in any residential area.
