In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to residency.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

        Notwithstanding any Law, Ordinance, Rule or Policy to the contrary, no member of a regular fire or police department or a fire alarm division shall be required to reside within the limits of the city or town in which they are employed as a provision for continued employment.
