An Act authorizing the department of conservation and recreation to lease land.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 33 of chapter 92 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the department of conservation and recreation shall enter into a 99 year lease for the consideration of $1 per year with Lowell general hospital for the premises at 190 Varnum Avenue in Lowell.
