An Act requiring written confirmation of telephone sales

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Chapter 159C of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following section:-

 15. Telephone solicitors shall be required to send and receive back from the customer written consent that the customer agrees to the transaction made over the telephone.
