 An Act relative to  school aid for cities and towns

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Section 10 of chapter 70 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

 

In addition to the aid provided in the preceding paragraphs, for every additional unit of low or moderate income housing in which school age children reside and will attend local schools, the city or town shall receive additional aid equal to cost to the city or town for each such child.
