In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act providing health insurance for certain home care providers.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  The definition of “Employee” in section 2 of chapter 32A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-

 

Any person furnishing services under a contract with department of elder affairs known as aging services access points pursuant to section 4B of chapter 19A.

 

SECTION 2.  The definition of “Employer” in said section 2 of said chapter 32A, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:-

 

Any agency or home care provider under contract with the department of elder affairs known as aging services access points pursuant to section 4B of chapter 19A.
