 An Act further protec ting children.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Section 63 of chapter 119 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the first paragraph the following paragraph:

 

                Any person who shall be found to have knowingly and willfully aided or abeted a child under the age of 17 years, or under the age of 18 years and in state custody, to violate an order of a juvenile court, or who shall be found to have knowingly and willfully concealed or harbored a juvenile who has taken flight from the custody of the court, their parents, legal guardian, department of social services or department of youth services, may be punished by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment of not more than 1 year, or both.
