Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section1. Section 42 of chapter 21 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting, after the first paragraph, the following paragraph:-
Upon a finding of guilty of the provisions of this section, the adjudicating court shall notify the secretary of state’s office of the offense, defendant and conviction. The secretary of state shall notify all commonwealth agencies and thereupon any and all licenses and permits issued by the commonwealth shall be revoked and no new permits or licenses shall be issued to the defendant for a period of 5 years from the date of conviction.
