In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to scholarship program in the commonwealth.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 1. Paragraph a of part b of section 3 of Chapter 62 as most recently amended by section 5 of Chapter 163 of the Acts of 2005 is hereby amended by adding the following subparagraph:-

Section 15. Amount equal to the amount of donations to scholarship endowment programs for institutions of higher learning both private and public located in the commonwealth.

Section 2. Chapter 15A of the general laws is hereby amended by inserting after Section 9B the following section:-

The board of higher education shall institute college access centers to provide information on the availability of scholarship and financial support services.
