An Act authorizing cities and towns to charge payment obligations.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, any city or town may charge to any enterprise fund a payment in lieu of tax obligation on its assets, provided however, that no payment obligation exceeds the amount that a property tax would be charged to a similar asset.
