In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to additional liquor licenses in the town of Wareham.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding Section 17 of Chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the Town of Wareham may grant a license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages to be drunk on premises under section 12 of Chapter 138 to the following map locations:……………………….  The license shall be subject to all of said chapter 138, except section 17.

Section 1 of this act shall become inoperative on July 2, 2007 unless the local licensing authority has issued, with prior approval of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, the licenses authorized by section 1 of this act for premises actually in existence at the time the license is issued.
