In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to interest rates to be charged upon apportionment betterment assessments in the town of Wareham.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Wareham with respect to betterment assessments for any and all projects assessed after the effective date of this act shall assess interest on apportionments of such assessments at the same rate of interest charged to the town for bonds issued for each such projects.

SECTION  2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
