In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to the maximum age restriction for police officers for the city of Boston

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Not withstanding any general or special law to the contrary, including provisions of Chapter 242 of the Acts of 2000 in the City of Boston no person shall be eligible to have his name certified for original appointment to the position of police officer if such person has reached his fortieth birthday on the date of the entrance examination.
