In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act Validating Certain Health Insurance Payments Made by the Town of Orleans.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, payments of 75% of health insurance premiums for retired employees of the town of Orleans that have been previously made by the town are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed to the same extent as if the acceptance of section 9A and 9E of chapter 32B of the General Laws had been in full compliance with the law.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
