An Act Relative to the Issuance of Certain Bonds By the Town of Wellfeet |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Wellfleet may issue bonds or notes in excess of $3,190,961 for the cost of constructing and reconstructing the Wellfleet harbor seawall for a term not in excess of 20 years from their date, provided however, the amount of bonds shall be reduced by the amount of any grants or gifts received by the town for this project. Except as otherwise provided in this act, such bonds or notes shall be subject to all applicable provision of chapter 44 of the General Laws.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
