In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

——————

 

 An Act regarding municipal retiree health insurance in the town of Lanesborough.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding Chapter 32B of the General Laws or any other general or specific laws to the contrary, the Town of Lanesborough shall provide to its former employees who have retired from the service of the Town of Lanesborough prior to July 1, 1993 and to their eligible dependants, 90% of their health and dental insurance premiums.  The retired employees and their eligible dependents shall continue to receive 90% of the health and dental premium contribution for so long as the retired employee or their eligible dependents remain continuously enrolled in the health and dental care benefit plan or its equivalent, notwithstanding an alteration in health and dental insurance plans or health and dental premiums by the Town. 

 

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
