An Act relative to additional liquor licenses in the City of Salem |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the City of Salem may issue a license for the sale of beer and wine not to be drunk on the premises under section 15 of said chapter 138 to David Halter for his business located at 32 Church Street in Salem, Massachusetts. The license shall be subject to said chapter 138 except section 17; provided however, that the licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of the license to any other person, organization, corporation, or location separate from the sale of the entire business to be located at 32 Church Street in Salem, Massachusetts.
Section 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
