In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the leasing of certain property in the town of Stoneham.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  (a) Notwithstanding any General Law or Special Act to the contrary, the town of Stoneham shall be authorized to lease the Senior Center Barn and a portion of the real property, including a portion of the parking area, in said town, pursuant to the provision of section 10h of chapter 26 of the Acts of 1981, as amended, and the applicable provisions of the General Laws.

(b) The terms of any lease of said Senior Center Barn shall be for a period not less than ten years and not to exceed ninety-nine years.

(c) The Town Administrator shall be authorized to take any action necessary to carry out the provisions of this section.
