bill, House, No. 4097) of Stephen Stat Smith (with the approval of the mayor
and city council) that candidates for public office in the city of Everett be
authorized to appear on only one ballot at elections in said city. Election

Act relative to election in the City of Everett
Be it enacted by the
Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the
authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 6 of chapter 355 of the acts of 1892 is hereby
amended by adding the following sentence:- An individual running for elective
office shall have his name on the ballot only for one office that is one seat
at any one election.
