An Act Establishing a Sick Bank for a Certain Employee of the Department of Education

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Whereas, the deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the Department of Education, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the Department of Education shall establish a sick leave bank for Robert Bozarjian, an employee of the Department of Education, any employee of the department may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Robert Bozarjian.  Whenever Robert Bozarjian terminates employment with the Department or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, the balance of the sick leave time shall be transferred to the extended illness leave bank.
