In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act exempting certain properties in the town of Braintree from the deleading laws

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Sections 189A to 199A, inclusive, of chapter 111 of the General Laws shall not apply to any real estate within the town of Braintree used in whole or part for residential purposes, owned or controlled by the Braintree Historical Society, Inc. or in which Society has an equitable interest.  Any person leasing or renting a dwelling unit in such real estate shall be given written notice of such exemption from the deleading laws and shall sign a receipt acknowledging receipt of the notice.
