 An Act Authorizing the City of Everett to Place a Certain Liens on Properties in the City of Everett

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

The City of Everett is hereby authorized to place a lien on the real property of any person who has an outstanding balance due the City from any penalties, fines, assessments or other charges resulting from violations of the health , building , and fire codes as contained in the Revised Ordinances of the City of Everett. Any such lien shall be included on certificates of taxes and other assessments furnished by said City under the provisions of section twenty-three of chapter sixty of the General Laws.

 

This act shall take effect upon its passage.
