In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

An Act relative to a sick leave bank for an employee of the department of revenue.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Whereas, the deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the department of revenue, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the department of revenue shall establish a sick leave bank for Rhea Lindstet, an employee of the department.  Any employee of the department or the trial court of the commonwealth may contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation day to the sick leave bank for use of Rhea Lindstet.  Upon such time as said Rhea Lindstet terminates employment with the department or request to dissolve the sick leave bank, the balance of sick leave shall be transferred to the extended illness leave bank.
