Calter  and others (by vote of the town) that the board of assessors of the town of Duxbury be authorized to assess certain tax betterments relative to funding for the repair of seawalls in the Gurnet Road area of said town.  An Act relative to the town of Duxbury

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of section 13 of chapter 80 of the General Laws, or any general or special law to the contrary, the board of assessors of the town of Duxbury may assess betterments for the sums expended by the town pursuant to the  appropriation of $350,000 for the purpose of funding repairs to the seawalls in the Gurnet Road area.
