 An Act authorizing the Town of Brookline to lease town owned prperty for an additional thirty years

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. 

 

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the town of Brookline is hereby authorized to lease the town-owned property located at 86 Monmouth Street and shown as Parcel 28 in Block 112 on Sheet 24 of the Town’s 2005 Assessors Atlas, to the Brookline Arts Center, Inc., for another period not exceeding thirty years. Said time period is in addition to the thirty year period previously granted pursuant to Chapter 79 of the Acts of 1977. Any such lease shall be upon such terms and conditions as the Board of Selectmen shall determine to be in the interest of the town.

 

SECTION 2. 

 

 

This act shall take effect upon its passage.
