HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, February 6, 2008.
The committee on Ways and Means, to whom was referred the Bill regulating the distribution and sale of household cleansing products containing phosphorous (Senate, No. 536, changed), reports that the same ought to pass with an amendment striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the text contained in House document numbered 4523.

In the Year Two Thousand and Eight.

“SECTION 1. Section 5R of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2006 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out, in line 33, the words “dishwashing machines,” and inserting in the place thereof the following words:- a commercial dishwashing process,
SECTION 2. Said section 5R of said chapter 111 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 36 through 37, inclusive, the words “in the commonwealth after July first, nineteen hundred and ninety-four”.
SECTION 3. Said section 5R of said chapter 111 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in line 40, the words “dishwashing machines,” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- a commercial dishwashing process,
SECTION 4. Said section 5R of said chapter 111 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out, in lines 43 through 44, inclusive, the words “in the commonwealth after July first, nineteen hundred and ninety-four”.
SECTION 5. This act shall take effect on July 1, 2010.”.
