An Act relative to the Board of Library Trustees of the town of Bridgewater. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding section 53 of chapter 44 of the General Laws or any other general or special law to the contrary, the town of Bridgewater acting by and through its board of library trustees, may establish a revolving fund which shall be kept separate and apart from all other monies of the town by the town treasurer and into which shall be deposited all receipts of funds received by the Bridgewater library for the payment of fines and for lost or damaged items which shall be expended by the library director or any other person so authorized by the board of library trustees for the purchase of books and other library materials without appropriation.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
