An Act relative to damages from defective public ways.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Section 15 of chapter 84 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the words “five thousand dollars” in line 13 and inserting in place thereof the figures:‑$20,000.
