 An Act realtive to lease of property at 555 Trapelo Road, Waltham, Massachusetts, now known as a portion of the former Metropoltan State Hospital

 

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 40, Section 3, or any other general or special law to the contrary, the City of Waltham, acting by and through its Mayor, and upon approval of the City Council, is authorized to advertise and enter into a lease for 555 Trapelo Road, or any portion thereof, for the purposes of providing a nine-hole golf course and on such terms and conditions as it deems appropriate, including authorization to construct a building or structure (in accordance with the terms of the Met State Reuse Plan) for use as part of such nine-hole golf course.  Said lease not to exceed a maximum of 99 years.

 

Section 2.  This Act shall take effect immediately upon passage
