In the Year Two Thousand and Eight.

 An Act Establishing a Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners in the town of Plainville

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  The board of water commissioners of the town of Plainville established by section 9 of chapter 404 of the acts of 1908 shall act as the sewer commissioners of the town and shall have all the powers and duties as sewer commissioners under the General Laws.

 

SECTION 2.  The board of water commissioners established by section 9 of chapter 404 of the acts of 1908 shall henceforth be the board of water and sewer commissioners.

 

SECTION 3.  The board of sewer commissioner of the town is hereby abolished.

 

SECTION 4.  The members presently serving as the board of water and sewer commissioners of said town shall serve on the board of water and sewer commissioners until the expiration of their respective terms and the election of their successors.
