An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Matthew Dicicco, an employee of the Department of Corrections |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the department of corrections, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, the department of corrections shall establish a sick leave bank for Matthew DiCicco, an employee of the department of corrections. Any employee of the department may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Matthew DiCicco. Whenever Matthew DiCicco terminates employment with the trial court or request to dissolve the sick leave bank, the balance of the sick leave time shall be transferred to the trial court paid leave bank.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
