In the Year Two Thousand and Eight.

An Act exempting the town of North Andover from provisions of the prevailing wage law.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the town of North Andover shall be exempt from sections 26 through 27G of chapter 149 of the General Laws for projects estimated to cost $50,000 or less.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
