 An Act Authorizing The Mayor of The City of Revere to Appoint an Additional Eight Members to the Reserve Force of Firemen of the City of Revere Fire Department

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Ordered:  That a petition to the General Court accompanied by a bill for a special law relating to the City of Revere, to be filed with an attested copy of this order be, and hereby is, approved under Clause (1) of Section 8 of Article 2, as amended of the Amendments to the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to the end that legislation be adopted precisely as follows, except for clerical or editorial changes of form only: 

 

AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF REVERE TO APPOINT AN ADDITIONAL EIGHT MEMBERS TO THE RESERVE FORCE OF FIREMAN OF THE CITY OF REVERE FIRE DEPARTMENT.

 

                Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

 

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the provisions of any general or special law to the contrary, the Mayor of the city of Revere is hereby authorized to appoint an additional eight members to the reserve force of firemen of the City of Revere Fire Department, in addition to the number allowed by the provision of Section 59C of Chapter 48 of the General Laws.

 

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
