In the Year Two Thousand and Eight.

 An Act authorizing the town of Hull to designate a check off on its tax bills.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  The town of Hull may, subject to the approval of the commissioner of revenue, designate a plea on its municipal tax bills, or the motor vehicle excise tax bills, or mail with such tax bills a separate form whereby taxpayers of the town can voluntarily check off, donate and pledge an amount not less than $1 or such other designated amount which shall increase the amount already due which shall be paid over to the Hull Veterans Council Assistance Fund for the support of Hull veterans and dependants in need and to promote the recognition and observance of patriotic holidays.

 

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
