In the Year Two Thousand and Eight.

An Act authorizing the Town of Fairhaven to issue a common victualer beer and wine license to Jevon K. Malcom, Owner and Lisa M. Malcom, Manager of Jevon Enterprises, 116 Sconticut Neck Road in the Town of Fairhaven.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.    Notwithstanding the provisions of section 17 of chapter 138 of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the Town of Fairhaven may grant a common victualer beer and wine license to Jevon K. Malcom, Owner and Lisa M. Malcom, Manager of Jevon Enterprises (Mac’s Soda Bar) at 116 Sconticut Neck Road in the Town of Fairhaven under the provisions of section 12 of said chapter 138.  The license shall be subject to all of said chapter 138, except section 17; provided, however, that the licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of the license to any other person, organization, corporation of location.

SECTION 2.    This act shall take effect upon its passage.
