An Act relative to a sick leave bank for an employee of the Commonwealth. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the trial court of the commonwealth, therefore, it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public convenience.
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation shall establish a sick leave bank for Marya Panzica an employee of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation. Any employee of the Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation may contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by Marya Panzica. Upon such time as said Marya Panzica’s termination of employment with said Massachusetts Department of Mental Retardation or requests to dissolve said sick bank the balance of sick leave shall be transferred to the Department of Mental Retardation paid leave bank.
