An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Timothy M. Larkin, an employee of the Information Technology Division.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the Information Technology Division, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Section 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law, or rule or regulation to the contrary, the Information Technology Division shall establish a sick leave bank for Timothy M. Larkin, an employee of the Information Technology Division. Any employee of said department may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to the sick leave bank for use by said Timothy M. Larkin. Whenever said Timothy M. Larkin terminates employment with the Information Technology Division or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, the balance of the sick leave time shall be transferred to the Information Technology Division paid leave bank.

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
