 An Act authorizing Louis Magliozzi to a civil service list notwithstanding the maximum age requirement

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the personnel administrator of the human resources division shall examine and certify Louis Magliozzi for appointment as a police officer in the town of Burlington notwithstanding that he has attained the maximum age for the position, if he fulfills all other requirements for certification and appointment as a police officer under the procedures provided in chapter 31 of the General Laws, any regulations of the civil service commission and any hiring practices of the town Burlington.
