Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (f) of section 110 of chapter 5 of the acts of 1995 is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:- Notwithstanding other provisions of this subsection, a person receiving assistance and who is employed but whose income is insufficient to afford rental housing shall continue to receive assistance beyond the maximum eligibility period for up to 6 months or for any additional period determined by the commissioner.
