AN ACT relative to the sale of alcoholic beverages to wholesalers

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 25E of Chapter 138 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting in line 7, at the end of the sentence, the following sentence:- Any such manufacturer, winegrower, farmer-brewer, importer or wholesaler which obtains or acquires in any manner the right to sell, ship or distribute any such brand item shall for the purposes of this section stand in the place of, and be subject to all of the rights, privileges, duties and obligations of its predecessors from whom such brands items were obtained or acquired.
