AN ACT further regulating check cashing privacy

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Section 105 of chapter 93 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition is hereby amended by striking out subsection (b) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:-

            (b) No person, firm, partnership, corporation, bank, credit union, or other business entity accepting a check for the purpose of cashing said check, or as payment in full or in part for goods or services in any business or commercial transaction, shall do any of the following:
