AN ACT relative to the master teacher program

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.

Appropriations made to item 7010-0216 in Fiscal Year 2008 shall include funding to provide retroactive reimbursements for those participants enrolled in the Master Teacher Corps Program, as administered by the department of education, who received less than one hundred percent of their entitled or promised salary bonuses in any year before and including fiscal year 2007, pursuant to section 19C of Chapter 15A of the Massachusetts General Laws.

Section 2.  The board of education shall file a written report with the clerks of the house and senate and the house and senate committees on ways and means by December 1, 2007.  Said report shall include, but not be limited to, the names of participants in the program, the amount allocated to each participant in each year before and including fiscal year 2007, and the amount owed to participants receiving less than one hundred percent of their entitled or promised salary bonuses in years before and including fiscal year 2007, and the amount to be paid to each participant in Fiscal Year 2008.
